Real and fictional women who have been affected by domestic abuse and trauma.

For some women they stay, unable to escape safely and exist.

Others have been able to escape the abuse and move forward, many thriving.

But there are women who don’t escape and don’t survive.

During October (Domestic Abuse Awareness month) I will write about women who have been killed by a man they are personally connected to, after their 50th birthday.

They will not be sensational nor will they name the killer.

They will be challenging to read.
